Every beautiful home starts with a conversation. At Farley House, I take the time to truly understand your vision, lifestyle, and goals before a single decision is made. My process is thoughtful, collaborative, and tailored to you from start to finish.
I begin with a complimentary 20-minute phone call or an in-home/virtual consultation to get to know you and your space. This is where we explore your design goals, discuss scope, timeline, and budget, and answer any questions you have. Whether you're refreshing a single room or reimagining your entire home, this conversation gives me everything I need to move forward.
Step 1: Initial Consultation
Following your consultation, I'll deliver a custom project proposal outlining the scope of work and an estimate of design fees based on projected hours. I believe in full transparency and you'll always know where your project stands and what to expect every step of the way.
Step 2: Proposal & Estimate
Once we're aligned on the plan, the creative work begins. I develop a cohesive design concept tailored to your home, presenting colors, materials, furniture, and finishes through samples, mood boards, drawings, and renderings. This gives you a clear picture of how your space will look and feel before anything is ordered or installed.
Step 3: Design Development
Design is a dialogue. I encourage your feedback throughout the process and build revisions right in because the best results come from working together. Your ideas, concerns, and preferences shape the final design every step of the way.
Step 4: Revisions & Collaboration
I handle the details so you don't have to. From sourcing and ordering to coordinating with contractors, architects, and tradespeople, I manage the moving pieces to keep your project on track and on budget.
Step 5: Procurement & Project Management
The final step is my favorite, bringing your space to life. I oversee installation and styling to ensure every detail is exactly right, delivering a home that's as functional as it is beautiful.
Step 6: Installation & Reveal
Design processes typically run 4 to 8 months. Full-scale renovations may take a year or more and great design is always worth the investment.
